Despite having plenty of rules and laws about keeping animals, travelling with pets and even where and how to walk your dog, there are still no official guidelines or a governing body regarding most canine services. Therefore, when customers hand over their pet to a groomer, sitter or learn from a behaviourist there is no way of knowing whether they are validated by their qualifications and experience. This means ANYONE can offer to give your pooch a haircut in exchange for money! And you have to be careful who you listen to when it comes to advice about your best friend's training needs. Get recommendations, references and make sure your professional takes the time to listen to you and learn about your dog's needs, these are the people you can be sure to trust!
